Kha nom pang na gung (prawns on toast)

Serves 4


  • 4 slices of [white] bread
  • 1 cup ground pork
  • 1/2 cup broken prawns, chopped
  • 2 eggs

The following gets grounded:

  • 2 tbsp coriander root
  • Garlic
  • 2 tbsp pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 2 cup oil

Mix pork and prawns, with grounded coriander root, garlic, pepper mixture, salt, sugar and eggs. Allow to stand for a while.

Cut bread into 4 quarters and spread them with the prawns mixture.

Heat oil in a wok, fry the bread slices with the spread side downwards. When golden browm, remove from the wok and drain.
