Chicken Fried Rice (Khao Pad Gai)


  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 100g chicken sliced
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp onion, diced
  • 1 tbsp spring onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp ground pepper
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp seasoning sauce
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp garlic, chopped

Heat oil in the wok, add garlic, onion and chicken until chicken is cooked.Add egg and rice, and stir fry for 5 minutes.

Add seasoning sauce, salt, sugar and pepper, stir frying for 5 minutes. Add the spring onion and stir fry for a further minute. Serve with cucumber and a piece of lemon.
